Pretty in pink

WOW it is Sunday and I have only made one card today. Usually that is my stamping day but I did get some stamping done yesterday so I guess it evened out. This card I made using a digi stamp by The Stamping Boutique. I did something different my nestie wasn't big enough for the image and I had seen this technique where you leave part of the design out of the nestie. I cut in a little too far on the design but it worked out OK. I love these flowers I think they are flooradoodle. The paper is Basic Grey Nook and Pantry. The sketch is the Friday Sketchers http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ and the pink is for the One Stop Craft Challenge http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ Thanks for looking.

Chelsea in Brown Critter Sketch

I made this card for the Critter Sketch challenge http://critterchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ I had been looking at this sketch all week and then I decided to do kind of a rock theme and got out some papers and the monochromatic look just kind of fell into place. I never do monochromatic so this was a different look for me as I usually am using very bright colors. The stars were cut out with my slice. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Paper Sundaes to distress something I distressed the embossed paper on the cordenations paper http://www.papersundaes.blogspot.com/

OK I really don't do green very often but one of my Secret sis's got me 3 of the dustin pike High Hopes dragon stamps so you might be seeing some more green unless I decide to color the dragons pink which is a possiblility but this dragon is green. Now the second card is a freebie from polycraft a new to me digi company. I kind of regret my colors of the baloon but with black you can't change it after it is done so it is the way it is. I think I would have rather it be green. Anyway Thanks for looking.

Pink Butterflies Challenge card

Ok So I needed to do some stamping tonight and had made this card originally for three challenges but then remembered for one I was suppose to use a digi image and I didn't which is really rare for me lately so I will have to get up the courage tomorrow to try and make another pink card. OK so this card is for the PaperPlay challenge http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/ which is the sketch and for the Creative Belli challenge http://bellichallenge.blogspot.com/2010/02/belli-challenge-85-butterflies-and.html which was to use a butterfly or dragonfly on your card. Papertake Weekly Guest DT and Cute Sketch Wednesday

I am a bit behind on the papertake weekly http://www.papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ so this may not get posted on their site but I have really enjoyed working with them this month. There theme this week was to use plaid and so I went with this new plaid paper that I got today at Michael's. All of this paper came from a new My Mind's eye pad called "home" as you can see I have also been playing with my slice and I think that I am liking the sentiments the most right now oh and the flourishes. Haven't played much with the frames yet. The sketch is from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday http://www.sweetsketchwednesday.blogspot.com/ Oh the flowers are also new picked them up at MIchaels today. They are by Prima.

OK this first card was made for a new challenge called Critter Sketch Challenge http://critterchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ It was also made for a challenge at Phindy's place at PCP. This stamp is by Phindy's place and was a freebie for the PCP members. The paper is by Basic Grey from the Lime Rickey pad.

Last minute MOJO Monday

On Dustin Pike's blog he is asking for crafters to make a ten year old girl who is going through chemo some owl cards and he is offering a few owl images to those that are willing to send out some cards. I was looking for a good sketch to use with this image and found the MOJO Monday sketch and it is due in just a few minutes. I'm not real sure I am 100% happy with this card but it is done. I like the colors. I like the image. I don't know it just didn't wow me but hopefully it will bring a smile to this little girl. Thanks for looking.

Michelle Perkett Love Blog Hop

I am really excited to be part of the Michelle Perkett blog hop. Michelle gave us this great image to use and we were to also write a love letter to someone near and dear to our heart. You should start the blog hop here http://www.michelleperkett.blogspot.com/ This is the beginning of the blog hop.

I made this little box for my dear daughter, Alyssa. Many of you know her because she has her own little stamping challenge. She is eleven years old and the center of my world. I made the template for this box myself because I needed the box to be rectangular and I hadn't seen a design for one so I just made one myself. I glued prima flowers around the perimeter of the box and added rhinestones. I colored the image with my copics and bordered the image with my martha stewart loop punch. Inside the box I made ten tags. Each tag is numbered and says one thing per tag of what I love about my daughter. I know that she will love this little box and I will give it to her for Valentine's. Thanks for looking and now you are off to the next blog http://www.triciastreasures.blogspot.com/

Two new Cards using my New Slice

This first card is made for the Spoon Full of Sugar sketch challenge http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ and for the Designed To Delight progressive challenge http://designed2delight.blogspot.com/search/label/Stamp%20of%20the%20Month You still have a few more days to pick up this owl freebie. This card is also for Stamp, Scrap and Doodle http://ssdschallenge.blogspot.com/ which the challenge was to use no red on a Valentine card Colored with copics and I added a paper heart doily from the $1 spot at Target. The sentiment and heart were cut with my slice.

This next card was for the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge http://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot.com/ which the challenge was to use torn pieces of paper in your creation. It is also for the Inspirational card sketches http://icsketches.blogspot.com/ for the sketch that I used. Colored with copics. The paper is sugar rush by Basic Grey. The embellishments were cut from my slice. Thanks so much for looking.

I don't really have all the kinks worked out of my new slice but I've been playing with it for a few days and am ready to add a few slice embellishments to my cards.

This week's challenge was Love at the Papertake weekly challenge. I am so glad to be part of the DT for a few weeks. This digi stamp is by Karen's doodles. Who knows maybe I'll give him the puppy love purple card I made a few days ago. Thanks for looking The challenge is here http://www.papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/
