Stamplorations Mixed Media challenge Bookmark

I found some cool stencil paste at Michaels today on the clearance.  It came in some nice bright colors and then I realized how great it shows up on darker paper and I got the idea for a bookmark.  These may be gifts for coworkers and maybe teachers for Valentines.  All images and stencils are from Stamplorations and their Mixed Media challenge is here

Let's Get physical Art Impressions Challenge

So the art impressions challenge is Paper Piecing.  I got this new stamp a couple of weeks ago and thought it was perfect.  I took this card apart a couple of times and I'm still not sure that I am happy with it but it is what it is.  I kept singing to Olivia Newton John while working on this card and remembering the video where the larger guys all get in shape.  So one version of this card has the words to the song written at the bottom.  Thanks for looking.  Their challenge is here

Newton's Nook Love Challenge

Another shaker card and I learned do not use fine glitter in shaker cards as those little rascals stick to the acetate and you can not see what is in the shaker.  AKA the glitter does not shake.  Anyway...  This set is from newton's nook.  My first entry to their challenge.  I amde the background with distress inks.  I need a small set of scissors as I do not have a scan n cut nor do I have room for one.  OK go check out their stamps and their challenge.  I am also entering the MarkerPop challenge Anything goes  Images colored with copics

Winter in Spring colors

Watercolor birds

I bought this penny black stamp back in November and had not stamped it up.  I basically took tombow markers and colored direct onto the stamp.  I then stamped it on watercolor paper and went over the image with a wet brush.  I like the look. It's your day

I found a sketch on sketch Saturday and it inspired me for this card.  I wanted to put a diagonal watercolor wash and then not sure what else I would do.  I found this new stamp set in my stash by unity and figured I would go for it.  Due to a stamping incident the watercolor image was cut to take out the bad stamp aka it use to say soar it's your day LOL  So here is how it turned out.  I hope you like it.  I am also entering in Stamping smiles Tic Tac Toe challenge My row is background stamping, new  and shaped frame.  Hopefully the DT can see my cloud background stamping.

Hopping with Unity Pink and Red

Hello crafty folk of the universe.  Today I played with one of my new unity stamps and I love her.  I colored her with copics and then I watercolored the background.  The background really isn't what I invisioned but I like it just the same.  I was thinking I would make more puddles but ended up with more stripes instead.  I watercolored with marvy markers and distress inks.  Please make sure to hop along with unity to see the other great work of art.  I am also entering in the following challenges...
