Art Impressions Southern Style

This was a difficult theme for me but I think I pulled it off as when I showed my husband my new card he said "it sure is Southern" and I told him that was the theme so he said "well you did it"  The mailbox stamp is an Art Impressions mini water color set that I picked up at a scrapbook convention a couple of weeks ago.  I made the background paper with acrylic paint.  Thanks for looking.  You can find their challenge here.  Art Impressions challenge

I'm back Art Impressions Entry

I have not posted in a very long time but I am back.  I attended a scrapbook convention and was so happy to see tons of stamps YEAH STAMPING.  Anyway Art Impressions was there and I watched the demo of their watercolor stamps and fell in love.  This is my first attempt and found it very easy.  So here is my entry for the Anything goes entry over at Art Impressions.  Art Impressions challenge  The image is of course Art Impressions with the watercolor markers.  I think everything else is pretty self explanatory.  Thanks for looking!!  I am also entering this in the Dies R Us Challenge blog Dies R Us Challenge  All die cuts used (deckled rectangle and leaves) are by spellbinders.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b339/ckat7/halloweenday6.jpg

Welcome to Day 6 of the Queen Kat Designs 13 days of Halloween Blog Hop.  Our theme today is the color Orange.

For my card I chose Geared to tweet By QKD's  I stamped and then highlighted with copics and then orange stickles. I then distressed the image with black and orange chalk ink using a makeup sponge. The background paper is by Graphic 45.  I used the Martha Stewart spider web punch and added stickles and using the sizzix Tim Holtz alphabet I added the wording of Raven and added more stickles.  Thank you for stopping by my blog and please remember to hop the rest of the way through and if you didn't start from the beginning please do so.  Prizes are hidden along the way:)
