Simon Says Heidi's Choice Challenge

It is the owner of Simon Says stamps birthday this week so they had her choose a sketch for this weeks challenge. I think Simon Says is one of the top contributors for blog challenges that I see. They are always very generous in there gift giving. I really struggled with this because I wanted to do an owl theme but didn't really have an oval owl they were all more round. So finally I came to this idea. All while I was putting this together I thought this looks too busy and it probobly does but I like it. The stamp is by Basic Grey. Penny Black Christmas Challenge

I haven't stamped much this week but had a little extra time so I made this Christmas card for the Penny Black challenge. Digital Tuesday Hop to it

Sketch Saturday 66 challenge

I love eskimo's and I suggested at Mo's digital pencil for a kid eskimo stamp and I was so suprised when she e-mailed me a week later with this great eskimo digital stamp.  I had to move the sentiment from the original sketch because it didn't fit.  I thought these clear sparkly flowers looked like snow flakes.  The paper is by basic grey their eskimo kisses line.  Colored with copics of course.  Thanks for looking this challenge can be found here.  http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/

SCACD Challenge August

On PCP I am a member of the SCACD (Susana's custom art card design) group and this was a sketch for the august challenge. It was also a color challenge which I usually find very hard but I found the colors needed. Colored with copics. The girl and doll are by SCACD and the sentiment is by Daisy bucket. Hey this is my first button that I have used on a card. Got some buttons and string last weekend. The paper that I embossed is by Cordenatations called white wash. It is then lightly sanded. Simon Says Go Back to school Challenge

I won this stamp set from Shriley2girls about a month ago. It is a larger stamp so it was hard for me to come up with an interesting layout but I guess it came out OK. The Simon Says challenge gave me a reason to pull this cute stamp set out and play.
