I enjoy card swaps at Splitcoast stampers and this is my entry for a tree theme swap. This set is called build a tree by Impression Obsesssion. My first attempt at this card was a big flop so I had to rest, rethink and then start over. I was real happy with the results.

Unfortunetly Chad's grandpa died last week so we had an unexpected trip to KY. We actually had a very nice visit with everyone and Alyssa got to play with her cousins that she hardly ever sees. It rained almost the entire time that we were there and it rained the entire drive down there which is nine hours. I guess April showers bring May flowers so we should have alot of flowers this year:)
Every year at Alyssa's school they have a girls fashion show. The girls pick outfits from one of two stores and model them for their family and friends. Alyssa has now participated in five fashion shows and next year will be her last as her school only goes to the 5th grade. We always have such a fun time and the food is always wonderful. Here are a few photos of Alyssa and her classmates. These girls have been friends since kindergarten. I wish I had photos of her first fashion show so we can compare now and then. I have them somewhere. That would be fun.

Today was the first day of a 12 days of Easter swap. We get to open one gift each day of April until Easter. Today was the first day which was so exciting and I received a new set of UM fairy stamps. I uploaded a photo of all my goodies. Also I have been doing alot of stamping lately and just wanted to share some of my latest creations. The fun thing about these cards are that they use $1 stamps from Michaels.
