GIU Day 3

Today I bring you a card that I really love.  You don't need a fancy die cut to make your mountains.  I used just a pair of scissors and I made the hills just I liked them.  I then went over the edges with stickles.  The city image is from the Oct KOTM.  I really like this image a lot and am trying to think of different ways to use this with it being curved.  Thanks for looking and remember to leave comments to be entered in the drawing for a grab bag of unity stamps!!

GIU Day 2 Unity stamps

Today I am sharing a card that I made using the lightbulb stamp from the unity stamp company's KOM November 2016  I loved this stamp and was a little intimidated on what to do with it.  I just started tearing some paper and making a border and this is what I came up with.  It might be a little busy but I think it is festive.  I really enjoy the colors on this card.  Thanks for looking and remember to visit each day and comment for a chance to win a grab bag of unity stamps!!!!!!!!!!!!

GIU Unity stamps day 1

I am really excited to be the growing in unity girl for this week.  Remember check in every day Monday-Friday and leave a comment to be entered in a drawing to win 25 randomly chosen unity stamps. Unitystampco.com

For today I am doing a Christmas card in blue.  I love blue for holiday cards.  I tore just a scrap piece of paper and then using distress ink and the distressing tool I created the snow drifts.  Very easy way to make a nice background.  You could do this technique to make snow, mountains and ocean really anything as a background scene.  I hope that you liked this simple card and meet me back here tomorrow.
