The holidays are over so now back to stamping non-Christmas cards... so sad but here is my first non-Christmas card in well probably 2 months maybe more.  The images are by Unity one of my fave companies.  Do you notice the paper pieces?  I love adding sequins to a plain background it gives it pizzazz.  Thanks for looking my friends.  Colored with copics.  Runway inspired Challenge

Unity blog hop

I learned this technique on the Unity FB page.  It makes a really easy background and this card was fairly fast and easy so I can do multiples of these to give out to my pen pals etc.  This is the first time that I have glued sequins to my card and it is just so fun and easy to add a little bit of bling.  Make sure you visit the hop and if you are not a unity fan you soon will be:)  Unity blog hop

Unity Challenge second Entry

Like I said I had time to stamp a couple of cards today.  This card is using the cute little birthday owls by Unity.  Do you see the girl owls eye shadow.  I also stamped her to be kind of floating away LOL Again colored with copics.  Thanks for looking.  The challenge can be found here  I followed their sketch to the best of my ability.

Unity Challenge Oct/Nov

I have had one busy week so it has taken away from my stamping time but I got off early today!!!! and got some time to make a couple of cards.  This first card I made with my new little penguin stamps of course from Unity.  I used copics to color and I think the card is pretty easy to figure out how it was constructed. I love playing at Unity!!!  I "followed" their sketch to my interpetation.  You can find their challenge here

Unity Blog Hop

Every Tuesday we get to hop with the stars of unity.  This week I am using one of the stamp sets that I had never inked up called Small stuff Christmas  I purchased this set as it reminded me of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree:)  I just loved that show. Anyway I colored it with copics and I really like the Christmas paper I used as it seems to make the card really pop.  You can find their hop here.

Unity Blog Hop Spinner Santa

Hello everyone out there in stamping land.  Today I bring you a spinner card made with a new Unity stamp that I got in the mail today.  It is called Always Pick Naughty,  I turned the little Santa into a spinner.  I was going to add the sentiment outside of the spinner but there was enough room on the spinner for the sentiment.  I thought about adding another sentiment (yes the set has two) but I just left it as is as I tend to add too much sometimes.  I like the browns for Christmas cards I think it looks classy:)  Enjoy and have fun with the HOP.  Oh here is the link to the Unity Hop

House Mouse and Friends In the Pink

A million years ago ok not that long ago but in the late 90's I was introduced to stamping.  Anway.... My first love was house mouse.  Back then you had to order house mouse stamps off the house mouse website and I remembered getting my order in and just being beyond excited.  My first house mouse stamps were some mice flying kites and a little mouse looking in a compact mirror I think putting on lip stick.  It is good to get back to the beginning and so have found playing with my house mouse tonight and having a great time.  They are just beyond cute.  Anyway I digress... There is a house mouse and friends challenge and their challenge is In the Pink.  So I remembered this little ballerina and I wanted her to spin with a stage.  I gave her a curtain from ribbon ( I wish I had some lace) Anyway this was a labor of love and not perfect but I like how it turned out and I hope that you can vision this little mousie twirling away on the stage.  Thanks for looking.  Here is the house mouse challenge.

Unity Blog Hop

Unity has invited us regular folk to play in their DT hop.  That is so fun so I had some time this evening and got out one of my new Unity stamps that I got last week and had no inked up yet.  Actually he still may not be technically inked up as I colored directly onto the rubber with watercolor marker and then created a background with a copic marker to look like a snowy day.  I like the colors that I used.  Looks cheerful!!  Thanks for looking and have fun hoping:)  Here is the Hop

Impression obsession Fall florals #2

After I made my first card I had these die cut leaves left so I had to do something with them.  I arranged them on some background paper and added a frame die cut All in one Frames rectangle 2 DIE291-WW then added a bow.  Easy and fun card!!  The leaf die again is found here Leaf die set DIE030-S  I love the IO challenges. Thanks for looking and run over and check out their challenge and their great dies and stamps.

Impression obsession Fall Florals

I love entering the IO challenge This challenge was a bit difficult for me as I really do not have any fall type IO stamps but I did have a set of IO fall leaf die cut set so I took some distress ink and made a background and then die cut the leaves.  I put decorative paper behind the diecuts and added a bow.  I really like this card and didn't take 100 years to make which is always nice.  The leaf die set can be found here DIE-030-S  Thanks for looking oh and the IO challenge is here IO challenge

Hello everyone in cyberland.  Today I was so excited to get to use one of my new shaker stamp sets from Art Impressions. Art Impression Cut your card

I have been playing a lot with my new try fold stamp set and yes I wish I had the Halloween one now (just wish my local scrapbook store would carry it) OK so lets talk about this card.  I followed the instructions and colored with copics I then layered on a red card base and then I added the background paper for the inside of the card and cut around it again should have done this when I cut the first time but we will call it a learning experience.  Thanks Art Impressions!!  Art Impressions challenge

Box Fold Card

So I got this new stamp set from Art Impressions.  It is a tryfold set and then I was looking on youtube watching videos and I saw this fold up box card so I thought about it and here it is.  Now the gifts on the left of the card is a partial stamp still from my new Tryfold set it was just too tall so I kind of cut out a part of it to fit my card.  In the images you can see that the card folds so that you can mail it although it still kind of wants to pop open in the photo.  This was a really fun although time consuming.  All stamps are Art Impressions.

I am entering in the Art Impressions cut your card challenge Art Impressions challenge
and the NBUS challenge NBUS (never been used stuff) challenge my NBUS is my art impressions stamp set.

Thanks for looking
