Get Sketchy #16 Free Digi from Aly

My beautiful and talented eleven year old daughter has her own challenge blog www.alyssundaychallenge.blogspot.com and she wanted to thank those that have supported it over the last few month's by offering a free digi.  She loves to draw so it was just natural to turn one of her drawings into a digi stamp.  The sketch I used is this weeks Get Sketchy Sketch  http://getsketchy.blogspot.com/ Colored with copics. I added this poinsetta that I found in the Christmas section of Hobby Lobby
this week. Thanks so much for looking.

Sweet sunday sketch 46 and A free Digi Stamp

This is my first entry into the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge. I was looking for a sketch to use today using a circle and I found this one. The snowman stamp I got this weekend from a secret sis swap and is by Hampton arts. I used my glittery sprigs again that I got at Old time pottery (warning I have a whole bundle that will last for years so you will probobly see these alot:)) Now what about the free digi. Well I designed this nestie frame stamp to use with a scalloped circle nestabilitie. I used it as a snowflake frame but it could also be used as stars on the 4th of July. It will be available in red and black and they both will be free to anyone that participates in Aly's sketch this coming Sunday Dec 6th. There are more suprises so make sure to stay tuned and watch Aly's blog http://www.alyssundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ Oh and the sweet sunday sketch is here http://kgiron.blogspot.com/

Creative Inspirations Sketch 36

This is my first entry into the particular challenge blog. I love finding new blogs to join. I got this paper from Hobby Lobby on black friday and I just LOVE it. It is by K and Co. I also picked up these glittery babies breath sprigs from Old time pottery and thought I would give them a whirl in using in my card creations. I love them also. So here is my card. I used Hero arts owls colored with copics and the sentiment is by Catslife press. Thanks for looking and the challenge is here. http://www.cinspirations.blogspot.com/

Tuesday Morning Sketch with a Spoon Full of Sugar

I love Gingerbreads and I won this digi stamp awhile back from Whimsie Doodles. It is really one of my favorites. This weeks Spoon full of sugar challenge was to use brown with pink or blue and I chose pink. http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ The sketch is by Tuesday Morning Sketch and was a really fun sketch to play with. http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ Thanks for looking.

Dietrich Challenge #12

I found this challenge that the kids draw a sketch challenge and since my daughter has her own challenge I really wanted to support this blog. http://www.thediedrichdare.blogspot.com/ This is my take on seven year old Jack's sketch. The stamp is by Penny Black colored with copics. I had a red layer underneath the image but then there was no room for the three embellishments on the side. Thanks for looking.

Christmas Ornament

Well turn your head to the side because blogger wants to rotate my images ut hopefully you get the idea

Well I made this for Tuesday Morning sketches but then realized that I had printed a sketch from two weeks ago. So I can't enter it in the sketch challenge but it did inspire me for this ornament. The base is a paper mache ornament from Hobby Lobby. I am really happy how this turned out and I think I'll make a few more for gifts.

Unscripted Sketches and Pixie Dust Studio 1st Challenge

This is another one of the freebie digis out there available from the Pixie Dust studio challenge site. http://pixieduststudiopixiechallenge.blogspot.com/ Their challenge was to use this stamp and use some texture. I paper pieced the Santa suit. I ran one through the cuttlebug swiss dot folder and the pieced it on the colored image. The peace saying stamp is by Catslife got it today at a craft show. The sketch is by unscripted sketches http://unscriptedsketches.com/ Thanks for looking.

Inspirational Card Sketch #43 and Soft Pencil Christmas Challenge

This was a freebie digi stamp at the soft pencil papercraft planet group. I got a big pad of pastel Christmas paper while in Branson and am putting it to good use. The sketch is from ICS #43 http://icsketches.blogspot.com/ Colored with copics and pencils. Thanks for looking.

Aly's Sunday Challenge ASC5

It has been awhile since I have posted. It isn't because I haven't been stamping I have it is just I have been working on Christmas gifts that can't be put on my blog for obvious reasons. This is my entry for Aly's challenge #5 http://www.alyssundaychallenge.blogspot.com I used an old SU set that I got off Craigslist during the summer. I'm not sure that I really like the bow but this ribbon stuff was what was easily found that matched the theme so I went with it. Check out Aly's and hope you decide to play. Oh and I LOVE my new icecicle Martha Stewart punch!!
