Branson in May
OK If you know me you know that Alyssa and I travel to Branson,MO ALOT. It is our girl get away spot. Our May trip over Memorial day was great. You would think eventually we would run out of stuff to do but no Branson always changes and there is just something always new to see and do. This time we visited Dogwood Canyon. A nature park owned by Bass Pro. A cool river runs through the center of the canyon which is full of trout. Fishing is allowed. The river is stocked. You can ride a bike through the 6 mile trail. Caves, cliffs and waterfalls surround you. We also saw the Dutton's show which Alyssa had been wanting to see for awhile. She wants to learn to play the violin so it really interested her. It was a great show. We saw Cathy Rigby in the production of Peter Pan which is top notch. You can't ask for a more entertaining show. Next we took a river boat cruise down Lake Taneycomo. I got the best photos of a bald eagle. Really amazing. We love you Branson.
My Summer Secret Sister's Birthday Gift to Me
On Splitcoast stampers I am always involved in some sort of secret sister swap. I was brought to tears of joy over what my summer SS sent me for the month of June. I opened my box and found this great purse shaped scrapbook which included photos of my family and I and our day at the zoo for my birthday. It is something I will cherish always. I have included some photos of the album opened and closed. It has inserts that can be pulled out the sides which have photos on them also. Thanks so much SS.
