Aly's Sunday Challenge ASC5

It has been awhile since I have posted. It isn't because I haven't been stamping I have it is just I have been working on Christmas gifts that can't be put on my blog for obvious reasons. This is my entry for Aly's challenge #5 http://www.alyssundaychallenge.blogspot.com I used an old SU set that I got off Craigslist during the summer. I'm not sure that I really like the bow but this ribbon stuff was what was easily found that matched the theme so I went with it. Check out Aly's and hope you decide to play. Oh and I LOVE my new icecicle Martha Stewart punch!!

What a cute card! I have been so busy with sick kids and a sick hubby that I haven't gotten anything done! I need to catch up.

Why do I think your daughter is a hard judge? Because it is impossible to figure out what will please her! Shelly and I are going nuts trying to figure out why she picks the cards that she does.

Most of the time with a challenge blog, you can tell what it is that the judge(s) like, and that that for instruction -for example, if a blog favors a lot of chipboard and buttons in its winning cards, then that's what you use when playing their challenges. With Aly, it's impossible. I can't detect a trend from one blog to another. She seems to want her players to follow the sketch exactly, and not leave anything out or change the orientation, so I'm assuming that is a thing I have to do with her challenges.

This is getting to be a point of pride for me - I have four kids, and I used to be a Girl Scout Troop leader - why can't I figure out how to make a card that a 10yo girl likes?

Too cute! I love those polar bears. I am getting ready to start making Christmas gifts this weekend. I still have one last special order to complete from last week's craft show. Will we get to see your creations after Christmas? I hope you are taking pics to share later. :)
